On the heights of Lyon, well surrounded by the Rhône (the river this time) and the Saône 🌊, LUT by Night invites you to get your vibes going till the wee hours! 🌝 Even if temperatures are chilly in November ❄️, after a mindful warm-up, you’ll be on fire ! 🔥 It’s time to show off a dancefloor on the pavement with this beautiful urban trail Lyonnais! 🦁

Get ready for a crazy night (you can hum along to the tune in your head 😆)! The City of Lights will shine all night long 🎶. Three new dance--running tracks await you for this 12th edition of the Lyon Urban Trail by Night ! 🎉 In the heart of the Gauls’ capital, under starlight 🌟 (or more precisely your headlamp 🔦), you’ll soak in the city’s magical vibe on 10 km, 20 km or 30 km in chrono mode ⏱️. And because night is also made for celebration 🥳, a 10 km 👻 non-timed is planned. Indeed, midnight trail runners 🕛 will take you to the end of the night! 😅

It’s on the right bank of the Saône that this show, not to be missed at any cost! Like a actor in trail shoes 👟, you’ll start from the iconic Théâtre Romain de Fourvière, on the stage of the grand amphitheater 🎭. The fever will peak, even your headlamp might literally explode! 💡 During your urban trail, you’ll make the Place Saint-Jean ⛪ and the rue Tramassac 🧭 shake, climbing up the heights of Lyon 👆, step by step, to the emblematic hill of Fourvière ! There, you’ll be able to unleash your best moonwalks 🕺 on its quaint cobbled streets 👟. Don’t stop until you’ve had enough as the King of Pop sung! 🎤 The 30 km will even take you to Pierre-Bénite via little paths ☝️. For your finish, you’ll have the chance to receive a hill of encouragement from the delirious crowd at the foot of the Basilique Notre-Dame-de-Fourvière ⛪, with a magical view that overlooks everything Lyon 🤩. An Urban trail of night, with portions of paths, could this be a taste of SainteLyon? 🌙 Anyway, it’s the perfect race to train for 👌.

After your race and a good long nap, you’ll be facing the soreness! 😂 So, to dodge the aftershocks, reward yourself with some Lyonnaise specialties in the French capital of gastronomy 🍽️. It starts with a slice of pâté en croûte and a Saint-Marcellin (yes, that soft cheese 🧀 actually comes from Isère, from the Drôme or from Savoie 😋), before finishing with the coussin de Lyon for a sweeter note made of a chocolate ganache enrobed in marzipan and flavored with curaçao 🤤. Feet all the way to the finish (of the night)! 😜
