Kresowe Trial - Semi-marathon du Bison

Kresowe Trail – Bison Half Marathon is a true jewel on Poland's trail running calendar 🏅! The traditional half-marathon distance (21.0975 km) along with the shorter distances that accompany it cross the deepest and most picturesque corners of the Białowieża Forest or the Knyszyn Forest. Forget flat, monotonous trail – sandy tracks, treacherous roots of the forest, soggy footbridges, and natural obstacles will make you feel the wild, primal call of nature with every stride 🏁.

Face to face with the King of the Forest as a family : Since you start the Bison Half Marathon, a visit to the Bison Observation Reserve is absolutely unmissable 🦬! A walk along well-maintained trails will let you and the kids see mighty bison, bison-cattle hybrids, lynx, wolves and deer in near-natural conditions. It’s an incredible nature lesson and a perfect, gentle way to unwind sore muscles.

Romantic walk for two in the Place of Power : Take your partner to the heart of the forest, to what’s called the Place of Power 🌌. It’s an ancient Slavic sacred site where, according to dowsers, a strong abnormal positive energy radiates. Walking among trees with oddly twisted shapes and wild nature, in the arms of your loved one, is a wonderful, mystical way to reset deeply and recharge your strength.

A fairy-tale landscape in the Land of Open Shutters : Set off on a trip tracing the traditional Podlaskie villages, such as Trześcianka, Soce or Puchły 🏡. You’ll see wooden houses with shutters, ornate corners and lintels richly carved and painted, appearing straight out of old tales.
