The Imperial trail is a nature trail race that will make the forest your perfect canvas. You’ll kick off in September about fifty kilometers from Paris, in the largest municipality in the region, almost entirely covered by the Fontainebleau forest. It spans 25,000 hectares, you guessed it 🌳 ? So, ready to conquer this grand territory?

Hear ye, hear ye ⚜️ ! Emperors and Empresses of running are awaited at the Fontainebleau forest for an exceptional race, in a promenade-worthy venue. You’ll be able to dominate with your stride the four distances of your course with choices: the 13 km of the Empress, the Philippe Mahut Trophy of 24 km, the Marath'Bleau of 45 km and the legendary Imperial Trail of 67 km. As for the royal family children, they won’t be left out since an obstacle course named the Infernal Kilometer is reserved for them!

In the heart of Fontainebleau forest, you’ll traverse lush vegetation but above all expect lots of climbs and descents with plenty of stones and rocks; you’ll need to weave your way around to dodge the traps 😬! You’ll have to master these forest paths, these nature trails with plenty of single tracks and some very technical sections as you like. A true “leg-breaker” course for runners, but if you want to claim the throne, you’ll need to rise to the challenge that awaits you! 💪
