Marathon de Fukuoka

The Fukuoka Marathon, it’s the grand urban excursion along the waterfront, Japan-style, with the energy of a metropolis that knows how to cheer without going overboard 🗾.

You’ll run in Fukuoka, the cool capital of Kyushu: lively streets, sea air, and that feeling of traveling far while staying ultra accessible 🌊.

Two formats to get you in the rhythm: 42,195 km for the big journey, or 5.2 km to soak up the vibe and treat yourself without burning out (here, we come to run… and to enjoy) 🏁.

The best plan is to experience the race like a brisk stroll: you cross a big city, you feel the sea not far away, and you find yourself “visiting” as you move, kilometer after kilometer, a true city break that doesn’t take a plane, it takes the road 😉.

After the finish, I’ll guide you to the nearby perimeter of the start: begin at Ōhori Park to unwind by the water, then head to Maizuru Park right next to it for green vibes and viewpoints on the castle ruins 🏯.

If you’re coming as a couple or with family, the failsafe combo: a stroll at Momochi Seaside Park to take in the bay air, then sunset near the Fukuoka Tower you’ll see, it’ll put you back on your feet… even after a big day 🧡.
