And in his honor, the Marathon of Vitoria-Gasteiz (EDP) was born! 👏 In the Basque Country, in its city Vitoria-Gasteiz 🇪🇦, a marathon brings together many participants to do what they love most: run! 🏃‍♀️ This Spanish champion, born in 1963, has run more kilometers than your car in a year 🚙. His main achievement? He became world champion in the men's marathon in 1995 in Göteborg 🏆, because running 42,195 km in Swedish rain 🇸🇪, apparently his idea of a good day 💦. Anyway, Martín Fiz, while you struggle to climb stairs, he runs a marathon before breakfast 🥐. So to train to be a little more like him, you can start by aiming to be a finisher of the Marathon of Vitoria-Gasteiz 🎽. Of course, if you're not ready to tackle a 42 km, the organizers have other options: you can, for example, cut 🔪 the pear in half 🍐 by signing up for the half marathon and its 21 km which will surprise you! Distances can still be shortened with the popular race of 10 km 🔥, a fast circuit, perfect for sprinters, but also very enjoyable for the kiffeurs ! 🕺 A 5 km is added this year to make the race even more inclusive! 🤝 Don’t forget something?
