Marathon du Tura de Bolimów

The Bolimów Tura Marathon is an exceptional event for nature and trail running enthusiasts, held on the picturesque forest trails of the Bolimów Landscape Park. The race nods to the mighty tura – the ancient king of these woods.

Organizers have prepared varied courses for runners of different levels: the flagship, challenging marathon (about 42 km) for the true hardliners, the spectacular half-marathon (about 21 km), and the fast, dynamic 5 km! The course is 100% natural – filled with soft soil, leaves, charming footbridges, and forest paths. Bolimów and its surroundings are ideally situated – right off the A2 motorway, exactly halfway between Warsaw and Łódź, making it possible to reach the start in under an hour from these two metropolises 🚗!

When, with mud on your shoes, the forest scent on your clothes, and a gorgeous medal around your neck, you cross the finish line, the weekend celebration begins. The surroundings hold gems ideal for a romantic getaway for two or a family outing 😉 :

Romantic stroll in Arkadia and Nieborów Park: located just steps from the route, the romantic Garden of Helena Radziwiłłowa in Arkadia with its artificial ruins full of charm, its aqueduct, and the Temple of Diana. A little further awaits the monumental Nieborów Palace with a magnificent French-style garden – the perfect place to soothe your emotions after the race 🏛️.

Visit the Rodzik family pottery workshop in Bolimów: Over a century of artisanal tradition! You can see, as a family, how clay vessels are formed on a traditional potter's wheel, and even try your hand at wheel-throwing jugs 🏺.

Kayaking down the tranquil Rawka : If your arms still have some strength after the race, the Rawka River Nature Reserve offers one of the most beautiful wild-water kayak routes in central Poland. The river winds prettily through forests, ensuring a close contact with nature 🛶.

A hearty meal in Łowicz style: The Bolimów forest borders the historic land of Łowicz. After burning thousands of calories, you must taste the traditional and local dishes – order a generous portion of Łowicz traditional kluski, a thick żur, or a classic homemade cheesecake for dessert 🍰.
