🔎 About the Event
Registrations will be public so competitors can select or move themselves into the most suitable division. This system helps ensure fair and balanced matchups while keeping the process transparent for everyone.
Competitors are responsible for reviewing their own divisions and making any necessary adjustments before registration closes. If you believe a division needs review, you may contact us, but final responsibility remains with each competitor or their coach.

- Log in to your Smoothcomp account
- Go to My Account → Registrations
- Find this event and select Edit
- Choose a division that best suits your age, belt, and weight
- Save your changes before registration closes
Brackets will be published on Wednesday before the event for viewing only. No edits, withdrawals, or late entries will be accepted after the Sunday deadline.

Event Format
- 7:30 AM – Doors open (coffee and breakfast available)
- 8:00 AM – Weigh-ins begin
- 8:30 AM – Kids warm-ups
- 9:00 AM – Kids matches begin
- 10:00 AM – Adult matches begin (subject to change)

- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled match
- 500 g allowance applies
- Weigh in wearing plain clothes (no gi or rash guard)
- If you are overweight, you will be removed without refund

- Local street parking available
- Brackets released Wednesday at 5 PM
- Rules: IBJJF rules with advantages
- Kids: 3-minute matches
- Adults: 5-minute matches
- No draws: Referee decision will determine the winner
- 2-player divisions = best of 3
- Limited to 250 competitors
- Girls vs Girls, Boys vs Boys (unless parents request otherwise)
- Weight, age, and experience matchups made as fair as possible

🔁 Registration, Bracket and Refund Policy
Registrations will close on Sunday, seven days before the event, at 11:59 PM. Competitors must complete registration, payment and any division adjustments before this time.
After the deadline, no further changes or cancellations are allowed. Brackets will be finalised and locked at this point. Competitors are responsible for ensuring they are in the correct age, belt and weight division before registration closes.
Brackets will be published on Wednesday before the event for viewing only. No edits, withdrawals or late entries will be accepted after the Sunday deadline.
If you don't have a match, you may withdraw and refund.
