You’ve surely played the Memory game as a kid 🧒. But here, we’re not talking about a board game! 😅 Lace up and head out for the 4th edition of the Memorun ! 👟 To do this, you’ll need to travel to Paris, in the heart of Île-de-France, and more precisely at the Bois de Vincennes ! 🌳 You’ll enjoy a natural setting 🍃, just steps from the streets of the capital, to help advance research on Alzheimer. Yes indeed! It’s from here that the name of the race comes Memorun : the race against forgetfulness 🧠. Indeed, this charity event donates all proceeds to the association France Alzheimer to fund 💰 its various actions to combat Alzheimer's and related diseases 🤓. Since 1985, this association works alongside patients and their loved ones, health professionals, researchers and institutional actors to improve care and to strengthen the fight 👊.

To support this cause alongside them 💪, several races are available: two on-road running routes of 5 km and 10 km 🏃‍♂️, a non-competitive walk 🚶 and two children’s races 👶. So you’ve guessed it—the Memorun is open to everyone ! The courses have no difficulty as they aim to bring people together through sport 🤝. So it’s the perfect moment, at the end of Septemberto bring your family and friends for a fun and festive weekend ! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There will also be a information village and many stands dedicated to adaptive physical activities 🏋️ such as tennis or table tennis… You’ll surely find your happiness 🤗.

But that’s not all! 🤯 At this gathering, there will be many champions 🏆, including Marie-José Perec, ambassador of the association and the race. They’ll be there to lead the various workshops and raise awareness for the cause 🥰. You’ll be well supported during this weekend! If you want to extend your stay in the city of Paris, these aren’t the monuments you’d miss visiting 🏛️. Not far from the esplanade Saint Louis, near the race site, you can take a stroll to the Château de Vincennes 🏰. Take notes because you might want to go back to try one of the many races that this castle hosts: Les Foulées de Vincennes, the Race of the Château de Vincennes or the Bois de Vincennes Semi-Marathon, it’s definitely a top running spot! 👑
