The discovery trail of 11 km is a family-friendly course accessible to all, especially for beginner Finishers who want to give it a go. On this distance, expect rolling terrain on paths with little difficulty but still a few slightly more technical sections to truly immerse you in the trail atmosphere. It’s a non-competitive event, just like the duo distance and the walk, to let you test yourself without the pressure of a result. The Monistrail of 21 km is a true nature trail, with a succession of different routes alternating between rolling sections and challenging parts. The incredible landscapes you’ll discover are also the symbol of a successful trail with jaw-dropping panoramas. You’ll run on very wide paths, brushing against the full spectrum of the monotrace as trail running does. You’ll start on a very smooth course, then alternate between balcony paths and steep, even vertigo-inducing descents. The landscapes you’ll get to see are just as dizzying: your eyes will be wowed by so many wonders! The finish is just as explosive to close this trail challenge in the best possible way. 🤩
Don’t hesitate, after the race day to explore the town of Monistrol-sur-Loire and its charming medieval alleyways. You’ll find a little restaurant in the area serving a dish of green lentils from Le Puy. A great way to recharge after a great run! 😋
