Repoussez vos limites lors du Moonlight Meander, un défi de course de trail nocturne organisé au parking des réservoirs de Swinsty et Fewston. Les athlètes peuvent choisir entre un circuit de 3,3 miles (5 km) ou de 6,7 miles (10 km) sur un parcours boisé vallonné et plongé dans l’obscurité totale. Le port d’une lampe frontale est obligatoire, et nous vous encourageons à apporter vos propres guirlandes lumineuses ou lanternes pour améliorer la visibilité et renforcer l’esprit de camaraderie sur le parcours. Testez votre agilité en parcourant les sentiers forestiers et les berges du réservoir : les itinéraires sont entièrement balisés et encadrés par des commissaires, garantissant une progression sûre et fluide dans l’obscurité. Des points de ravitaillement proposant de la nourriture et des boissons sont disponibles tous les 3 miles, vous aidant à rester en forme tout au long de la course. Chaque participant qui franchit la ligne d’arrivée se voit remettre une médaille personnalisée ainsi qu’une sélection de friandises, faisant de cet événement l’expérience de trail nocturne par excellence pour les athlètes avides d’aventure.
