Set off for Italy and Grado for the Mytho Marathon, a race along the seafront in the province of Gorizia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. With 8 distances offered, including the Dog Run 3.5 km, the Eco Run 5.5 km, the Family Run 6.5 km, the Night Run 7 km, the Nordic Walk 10 km, a half, 30 km and 42 km in relay or solo, everyone will find their challenge. A destination blending sport, exploration of the Marano Lagoon, and a summery atmosphere.
Headed to Italy 🇮🇹, to discover the Laguna of Marano, a hotspot for travelers in the North East of the boot 👢, near the border with the Slovenia. On the agenda: a bold running journey in the province of Gorizia, in the region of the Friuli Venezia Giulia 🌞: the Mytho Marathon in Grado 😍. A beautiful event in a town that will take you along the seaside 🌊 for kilometers.
No, it won’t be a myth if we tell you this event offers 8 different distances! 😂 Runners will have company, even the dogs 🐕 are invited to the Mytho Marathon, for the Dog Run, a 3.5 km race! More classic are the other events: a 5.5 km "Eco Run", a 6.5 km "Family Run" 👨👩👧👧, a 7 km "Night Run" 🌛, a 10 km "Nordic Walk" 🥾, a half marathon, a 30 km "Run" 💪 and the famous classic distance, the 42 km, to complete solo or in a relay! 👊

The commune of Grado is known for being a Venetian ahead of the curve! ⏳ But the mytho doesn’t stop at the race; you’ll be able to truly treat yourself once you’ve given it your all on the course! 😎 Grado is a renowned place and an important spa center, nicknamed "L’Isola del Sole", (the Island of the Sun) ☀️. That kind of nickname is always a good sign 😅. Spa culture is very strong in Italy 🌫️. You’ll be able to unwind in the spas 💆♂️, then head out to savor the delicious local culinary specialties tucked away in the city’s corners 🍝. This will be the moment to explore must-see places that will leave you with wonderful memories in your head! 🌱
And if you want to venture beyond Grado and explore the province, just say the word! This area is rich with regional gems 👑, including the Château de Gorizia, dating back to the 11th century, the Parc Naturel Régional de la Vallée du Corno or even Venice, which is less than a 2-hour drive 🚗. At this time of year there are fewer tourists... and mosquitoes 🦟. Why not also take a boat to explore the natural reserve of the lagoon of Marano, made up of about thirty islands. Finally, you’ll have understood: running is great, but discovering new (and beautiful) places off the course is also wonderful! 🤩
