Kick off the NeuroRun in Angers and become a committed neurorunner in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. This charity event offers 1 or 2 laps (5.5 km or 11 km) with no time pressure, perfect for walking and supporting the fundraising effort. In addition to a friendly atmosphere, you’ll receive a neck gaiter and a welcome pack to accompany your participation and the social impact across France.
Want to become a "neurorunner" and support a cause close to your heart? 🏃♂️ Then it’s time to lace up for the NeuroRun in Angers, in the Maine-et-Loire region, at the heart of Pays de la Loire! 📍 Through this charity event held all across France, you’ll contribute to the fight against the Alzheimer's disease which affects more than 1.2 million people 🧠. Back-to-school September is the perfect time to lace up your sneakers 👟, and it’ll be even more so to become an ambassador for the cause 💪 and commit to promoting the NeuroRun and the donation drive 💰.
This race is also a chance to test yourself on a distance without the pressure of a stopwatch! 😌 Indeed, here no records to beat, well, unless it’s the amount of donations raised for research 😉. As you’ve guessed, the NeuroRun is open to everyone and takes place in the most friendly atmosphere! 🤗 And good news: since the course isn’t timed, you can even walk! 🚶♂️➡️ Even better, you can sign up for 1 lap (5.5 km) or two laps (11 km) 🤓. Once you cross the finish line, you can put away your sneakers and cheer on the other participants! 🥳 The money raised will be used for supporting patients and their families all across France. Plus, you’ll receive a neck warmer and a welcome pack—pretty cool, right? 🤪
And if you’re not from Angers, no worries! 😎 NeuroRun travels to 11 different cities: Bordeaux, Nantes, Montpellier, Lille, Toulouse, Limoges, Strasbourg, Lyon, Paris, Rennes, and more! 🤯
Once your race is done, how about strolling through the flower city? 💆♂️ You can stretch your legs by wandering in the Parc Terra Botanica or the Jardin des Plantes 😍. You can also discover the other monuments in Angers: the castle, the Cathédrale Saint-Maurice d'Angers or the Musée Jean-Lurçat. There, you can admire the Apocalypse Tapestry, one of the most important medieval tapestries in the world 😵. To satisfy your runner’s appetite 🍽️, you can swing by the market for local specialties: the gouline d'Angers, the pomme tapée d'Anjou or even the botteraux to end on a sweet note! 😇
