Want to become a neurorunner and support a cause close to your heart? The NeuroRun in Bordeaux offers a friendly, non-timed race, featuring 1 loop of 5.5 km or 2 loops of 11 km, to benefit the fight against Alzheimer's disease and the support of patients and their families. Sign up to raise funds and receive a neck warmer and a welcome pack, all in a unifying atmosphere.
Want to become an "neurorunner" and support a cause you care about? 🏃♂️ Then it’s time to lace up and join the starting line of the NeuroRun in Bordeaux, Gironde, in the heart of Nouvelle-Aquitaine! 📍 Through this charity event held all across France, you’ll contribute to the fight against the Alzheimer's disease which affects more than 1.2 million people 🧠. The back-to-school period in September is the perfect time to put on your sneakers 👟, and it’ll be even more so to become an ambassador for the cause 💪 and commit to promoting the challenge of the NeuroRun and the fundraising 💰.
This race is also a chance to test yourself over a distance without the pressure of time! 😌 Yes, here there are no records to beat, well, except for the donations raised for research 😉. As you’ve guessed, the NeuroRun is open to everyone and takes place in a warm, friendly atmosphere! 🤗 And good news: since the route isn’t timed, you can even walk! 🚶♂️➡️ Even better, you can register for 1 loop (5.5 km) or two loops (11 km) 🤓. Once you cross the finish line, you can kick off your shoes and cheer on other participants! 🥳 The money raised will support patients' support and their families all over France. Plus, you’ll receive a neck warmer and a welcome pack—pretty cool, right? 🤪
And if you’re not from Bordeaux, no problem! 😎 Limoges, Nantes, Montpellier, Toulouse, Lille, Angers, Strasbourg, Lyon, Paris or even Rennes, the NeuroRun travels to 11 different cities! 🤯
Once your race is over, how about wandering through the Bordeaux city center? 💆♂️ You can rest your legs and admire the architectural beauty of the Place de la Bourse and its water mirror 💦. After passing the iconic Pont de Pierre, we recommend heading to the Cité du Vin to learn more about this regional culinary art. For a bite to eat, swing by the market to taste Arcachon basin oysters and some canelés to end on a sweet note 😋.
