About this event
Want to embody a neurorunner and support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease? The NeuroRun in Lyon is part of a charitable initiative accessible across France, to raise funds and support patients and their families. Non-timed course: 5,5 km or 11 km solo or as a duo, a friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the option to walk. Neck warmer and welcome pack offered at registration.
Want to become a neurorunner and support a cause you care about? 🏃♂️ Then it’s time to line up at the start of the NeuroRun in Lyon, in the Rhône, right in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region! 📍 Through this charity event held all across France, you’ll contribute to the fight against Alzheimer's disease, which affects more than 1.2 million people 🧠. The back-to-school month of September is the perfect time to lace up your sneakers 👟, and it’ll be even more so to become an ambassador for the cause 💪 and commit to promoting the NeuroRun challenge and the donations drive 💰.
This race is also a great chance to test yourself without the pressure of a clock! 😌 Yes, here there are no records to beat, well, except: the amount of donations raised for research 😉. As you’ll have guessed, the NeuroRun is open to everyone and unfolds in the warmest of atmospheres! 🤗 And good news: since the course isn’t timed, you can even walk! 🚶♂️➡️ Even better, you can sign up for 1 lap (5.5 km) or two laps (11 km) 🤓. Once you cross the finish line, you can pack away the sneakers and cheer on the other participants! 🥳 The money raised will be used for patient support and their families across France. Plus, you’ll receive a neck warmer and a welcome pack—pretty cool, right? 🤪
And if you’re not from Lyon, no problem! 😎 Bordeaux, Nantes, Montpellier, Lille, Angers, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Limoges, or Rennes—the NeuroRun visits 11 different cities! 🤯
Once your race is over, how about unwinding in the City of the Gauls? 💆♂️ To learn a bit more about the history of the city, you’ll need to head to the Roman Theatres! 🏺 You’ll also discover the other local specialty by strolling through the Vieux Lyon 🍖. And as all that has whetted your appetite, you can stop at a Lyonnaise bouchon to savor local specialties: cervelle de canut, pâté en croûte, or a tarte à la praline, the traditional dessert! 😋
