To your sneakers! 👟 Oh no, that was the old name of the Nogarun! 😅 In any case, the advice still stands since you probably don’t want to miss this race in Occitanie ☀️, in the department of the Gers. Located halfway between Pau, Toulouse, Agen and the Atlantic coast, Nogaro is a charming small town in the Bas-Armagnac 📍. We have no doubt you’ll be charmed by its remarkable natural heritage and by the different distances offered : a 7 km and a 12 km, which you can also walk around 🚶, as well as a 21 km. The little Nogarolians can also come to blow off steam on the kids’ race 👧 of the competition.

The nature lovers 🪻 will enjoy taking the trailsand the wooded areas 🪵 . The ArmagnacArmagnac a province where the event takes place, is mainly known for the spirit 🍾 bearing its name 🤪 (Alcohol should be consumed in moderation ). By the way, enthusiasts will surely be delighted to grab this excuse to visit a chai or two... 🙄 Know that this region offers magnificent natural corners (and Natura 2000 🌳), with breathtaking views 👀 over the Pyrenees, a wildlife 🐿️ and an exceptional flora and forests nearby near the Parc naturel régional des Landes de Gascogne 🌲. The 21 km will also likely make you want to take a dip 🏊‍♀️ since it circles the very pretty Lac de Caupenne, around a beautiful forest trail.

It’s going to take place in a small group setting, with 300 people in total. Still, we’re sure you’ll thoroughly enjoy this friendly, family-friendly format... 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Children are even welcome at Nogaro! They can also take part in the race, get some fresh air... 🌬️ And who knows? Maybe this spring day 🌼 will spark some vocations...
