One wild night gets you pumped? 🔥

Meet in Paris, in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, in the Île-de-France region 🇫🇷. To celebrate 10 years of the Fondation des Femmes, the Nuit des Relais kicks off in early April at the Parc Floral 🌳 for an event you’ll remember for ages. Here, you don’t need to be a marathoner 🏃 or have Rocky Balboa’s calves 🥊 : the challenge is a solidarity relay race, inclusive and festive, open to all 🙌. We’re not talking about a stopwatch ⏱️, but about heart, with a nightlife-long duration where every lap advances women’s rights.

The route unfolds in the enchanting setting of the Parc Floral, a place steeped in history that hosted events at the 1900 Olympic Games. We trade the gray city pavement for a rolling course between botanical gardens 🌺 and the exhibition pavilions. It’s a bit like Amélie meets a track field: beautiful, poetic ✍️, and a race with a meaningful purpose that makes sense. The profile is flat, ideal for switching between fierce running and dynamic walking without risk of a sprain 🌸. You’ll take off for a 1h30 relay with your team on a 600 m route. All of this to support the Fondation des femmes, aiding women affected by domestic violence.

The atmosphere is the lifeblood of this event 🫁. Don’t expect monastic silence ⛪️: here, a truly luminous human tide rolls in 🌈. There are hundreds of participants, businesses and teams united under the spotlights 🔦. Between two relays, you’ll enjoy a buzzing volunteer village 🕺, a snack bar to recharge 🍸 and a DJ set turning the park into an open-air nightclub 🪩. It’s the antithesis of austere racing 🪙, with smiles compulsory in every photo 📸. Yes, we’ve got an eye on you 😉.

For after the race, enjoy being in the 12th arrondissement to explore the surroundings 🔍. You can wander near the Château de Vincennes or stroll along the Coulée verte René-Dumont, a former railway line revitalized 🚂 showing you Paris from a different angle (a bit like in the film Before Sunset). On the culinary side, the neighborhood is full of classic bistros for a shared plate among teammates. We’re in Paris 🗼, so a crusty baguette and a coffee on a terrace are the best rewards after the effort ☕.
