Outlast est un défi d'endurance sur sentier d'une durée de 6 heures, au cours duquel les participants doivent parcourir 5 km toutes les heures. Les coureurs doivent terminer chaque tour dans l'heure imparti pour continuer ; ceux qui manquent un tour sont éliminés. L'événement met à l'épreuve le rythme, la discipline et la force mentale.
