Le Pleasant Ridge Backyard Ultra à Greenville, en Caroline du Sud, est une épreuve d'endurance où les participants courent des tours consécutifs de 4,167 miles toutes les heures jusqu'à ce qu'il ne reste plus qu'un seul coureur. Adapté à tous les niveaux, les participants n'ont pas besoin d'être des coureurs d'ultra. La course se déroule au Pleasant Ridge Camp and Retreat Center, sur des sections du sentier JFA et des chemins pavés. Les coureurs reçoivent une tasse de camping DNF lorsqu'ils s'arrêtent, et la dernière personne à terminer un tour est déclarée vainqueur. Le camping est accessible aux coureurs inscrits et à leurs équipes de soutien.
