Starting from Wrocław, the BoryRUN takes you to the wild heart of the Lower Silesian Forests, the largest forested area in Central Europe. A varied trail course with soft litter, sandy sections, and natural obstacles, suitable for beginners and seasoned runners (42 km, 21 km and side races). After the effort, enjoy local charms: Kliczków Castle, Bolesławiec and strolls along the Kwisa or Bóbr rivers.
Although Wrocław is a fantastic starting base, for the BoryRUN race we need to venture a bit beyond the city limits. This unique event carries runners straight to the wild, lush heart of the BoryRUN – the largest continuous forest massif in Central Europe, located in the Lower Silesia Voivodeship (race bases are often set in areas like Osiecznica, Kliczków or around Bolesławiec). From Wrocław, you’ll reach there comfortably by car (via the A4 highway) in about 1 h 30 🚗.
If you love trail running, the resin scent and escaping the urban asphalt, this race is for you! The BoryRUN course is nature in its purest form: a soft forest floor, sandy sections, charming paths and natural obstacles that guarantee real enjoyment and a proper test for the legs. Participants typically tackle distances suited for both beginners and experienced forest runners (e.g., 42 km, 21 km, or side races).

The Fairy-tale Castle of Kliczków: Located in the heart of the Lower Silesian Forests, this magnificent neo-Renaissance castle is surrounded by a historic park. It’s the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll, a coffee in the castle courtyard, or a spa session on site 🏰.
Shopping and workshops in Bolesławiec: You’re just a stone’s throw from the world ceramic capital! Bolesławiec is renowned for its beautiful hand-stamped pieces with distinctive polka dots. It’s worth visiting the Living Museum of Ceramics and even trying your hand at decorating pieces yourself ☕.
