Le marathon Whiskey Row de Prescott est un test d'endurance intense avec son marathon complet, son semi-marathon, son 10 km et sa course ludique de 3 km. Reconnu comme l'un des marathons les plus difficiles des États-Unis, le parcours est exigeant dès le départ, avec une ascension de près de 300 mètres à mi-parcours. Que tu optes pour le marathon de 42,2 km, le semi-marathon de 21 km ou le 10 km, tu devras affronter un parcours aller-retour éprouvant qui commence et se termine dans le centre-ville de Prescott, près du palais de justice sur Montezuma Street. Réputé pour sa difficulté, le parcours commence à 1 600 mètres d'altitude, grimpe jusqu'à 2 100 mètres dans les sept premiers kilomètres, puis redescend à 1 700 mètres au demi-tour, au kilomètre 21. Les cinq premiers et derniers kilomètres se déroulent sur des routes goudronnées, puis la course se poursuit sur un sentier en terre battue géré par le Service forestier américain pour le reste du parcours.
