So, you dream of San Francisco? 🇺🇸 Forget the hippie and cable-car clichés—June puts you in the heart of the Presidio, where it all happens! 🌳 For those who slept through geography 😴, the Presidio is an old military playground turned into an utterly mind-blowing national park at the northern tip of the city. It’s a winning combo 🎰: endless greenery 🌳, invigorating sea air, and especially ⛴️, a star guest who loves a good hide-and-seek: the morning fog (or "Karl the Fog" for the insiders) ☁️.

The departure comes as the golden light starts to break through the fog, yes, who says the Golden Gate Bridge isn’t far also means Golden Hour in the morning (great for the photodump on Instagram 🤳)! The event is a true ode to the Californian summer ☀️, the one when we prefer the sound of waves to the snooze button on our alarm ⏰. Whether you’re a purist of the run or a Sunday stroll enthusiast, the organizers have pulled out all the stops with a range of distances that would make a buffet jealous 😍. Between the Semi-Marathon, the 10 km, the 5 km and even a dog-walking option (yes, dogs are VIPs here 🐾), there’s no excuse to stay on the couch 🛋️.

The highlight? Crossing the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. Crossing this orange giant in full stride is a memory worth more than any trophy 🏆. You’ll feel the bridge vibrate under your feet, you’ll see the bay stretch out before you, and honestly, if that doesn’t give you a boost, we don’t know what will! It’s the perfect moment to channel your inner Rocky Balboa, fewer steps, more ocean view 🌊. We don’t run just for the clock, we run to become part of the SF legend..

And because after the effort, the reward shouldn’t be optional, the finish line feels like a Woodstock festival version, but healthy 🎉. Imagine crossing the line and coming face-to-face with a mountain of pancakes sizzling 🥞. Paradise, right? Add in some live music to forget your sore muscles and an ultra vibrant community vibe. Once your belly is full and your ears are satisfied, what next? San Francisco has plenty to fill your photo albums and memories! You can greet the sea lions at the Pier 39 👋, try not to get lost in the corridors of Chinatown or simply park yourself at Dolores Park to watch the local wildlife (very entertaining, I promise).
