In the heart of the Vercors Regional Nature Park, near Villard-de-Lans, experience the Marathon du Vercors, the first road marathon in Europe at an altitude above 1,000 m. Choose between 10 km, 20 km or marathon, and also enjoy the 11 km and 5 km hikes amid the forests and natural landscapes. The route culminates at Col de la Croix Perrin at 1,218 m, in a spectacular immersion in Isère.

It’s simply the first marathon on road in Europe at an altitude of over 1 000 m! 🤯 In the land of fir trees, all your senses will be awakened 🤩. Among the scents of spruce and beech 👃, you’ll be spoiled for choices! 🤗 You’ll also need to stay alert because you might just encounter a western capercaillie or a Alpine ibex 🐐.
Whether you’re into the 10 km, the 20 km, or the marathon, this is the perfect moment to lace up your sneakers and tackle gorgeous routes, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the nature 🌿. Two hikes are also on the program with the "Hiking of the Resistance" at 11 km and the "Gourmet Hiking" at 5 km 🚶➡️. Imagine yourself crossing verdant forests and breathing the pure mountain air 🌬️. These road races 🛣️ in nature promise breathtaking scenery and an intensity that will make you come alive! ⛰️ The routes are nestled in the largest regional park of France, between the towns of Villard-de-Lans, Lans-en-Vercors, Autrans and Méaudre.
