La Val'Lyonnaise

For its 24th edition, this iconic race awaits you at the heart of a territory where nature still has the last word. Head to Vaugneray, in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, for a day dedicated to sport, conviviality and shared enjoyment🏃‍♂️.

Here, everyone finds their playground. Experienced trail runners can tackle a 28 km demanding, crafted for elevation lovers with nearly 920 m D+ and a wide majority of natural paths underfoot 👣. Nature seekers will relish a 20 km fluid and immersive experience, while the 11 km offers a pleasure on a reachable distance, perfect for those who have already trained a bit 💪. Walkers are not forgotten with a 14 km hike, ideal for enjoying the landscapes with family, and the youngest have their moment of glory too thanks to free kids races, suitable for ages 3 to 11, not to mention a mini orienteering course to spark their sense of adventure 🧭.

But here, the race doesn’t stop at the finish line. Once the effort is done, it’s time for recovery and conviviality: meal included, basket filled with regional products, swimming pool, changing rooms and showers, without forgetting the presence of an osteopath to soothe tired legs 😴. Throughout the routes, the atmosphere is carried by musical performances, and as always, you can count on smiles from volunteers who are super motivated, true pillars of the event 🎶.

After the race, take time to enjoy the area: a stroll in Lyon, a relaxing moment at Parc de la Tête d’Or or a delicious break to discover the Lyonnais bouchons 😋. Here, we come to run… and leave with a smile 😊.
