Forget the boring asphalt and urban smog. Rogoźnik Runs are some of the most atmospheric race cycles in southern Poland. Here, sport meets the wild nature of Zagłębie and Silesia, all surrounded by forests, rolling hills, and two picturesque reservoirs.

The heart of the event is the Rogoźnik Leisure Center, but the courses (especially the ultras!) can take you to the historic Świerklaniec Park. It’s a true “multitool” for running: you’ll find everything from fast cross-country to brutal marathons, even runs by the light of real torches!

Rogoźnik isn’t just a start and finish: it’s an ideal base for a race weekend:

The Dorotka Hill (Mount Saint Dorothea): Even though it’s a bit farther away, in Będzin, routes “around Rogoźnik” often reference this magical rise. It’s the highest point in the area, from which you can see the whole metro area, and climbs in this sector really know how to “burn” the calves 🏔️.

Świerklaniec Park: If you choose the distance of the Marathon of the 7 Lakes, you’ll run through the avenues of one of Poland’s most beautiful parks, once nicknamed the “Petit Versailles.” The architecture and old oaks leave an incredible impression, even with a heart rate at the ceiling 🏰.
