On the doorstep of Lyon, the Run Écully settles at the end of May on the campus of École Centrale de Lyon in the Rhône, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Three accessible formats (10 km nature/road, 6.5 km, and a 20 km trail with 400 mD+) promise a friendly experience for everyone, with the Relais des Écoliers at 10:30 a.m. and activities after the race around Écully and the Vallons de Bois de Serres.
Attention Lyon families! It’s in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, right in the heart ❤️ of the Rhône department and just a few steps from the capital of Gaul (and the Gones 🧒) where it all happens 😉. The Run Écully will take place at the end of May ☀️, in the beautiful setting of the campus of the École Centrale de Lyon 🏫 with changing rooms, athletics track 🏃, a wooded parcours 🌲 and other surprises ✨.
For the new edition of this event, the aim remains to establish itself as an essential date 🗓️ for athletes of all levels in the Ouest Lyonnais 💪. You can now book your family Sunday for a festive experience 🥳 around the running with 3 formats of running accessible to all 👨👩👧👦. The new addition this year: a 20 km trail and 400 mD+! A perfect way to discover the sport while taking on a great challenge 😉. You’ll also have the option to start a 10 km run through nature and road, which will reveal the green spaces d around d’Écully and cross the Valleys of Bois de Serres 🌳. Its 106 hectares of forests and streams and almost as many species of birds 🦅 will amaze you! 🤩 If you hadn’t planned to take time to admire the landscape 🖼️get to the finish line 🏁 and try to win one of the prizes awarded to the top 3 in the scratch rankings, men and women 😍. The youngest and the least experienced runners, meanwhile, can take part in the 6.5 km course, an ideal distance to try running 🤓. The Run Écully is first and foremost a friendly event, to share the sport of running 🫶 with as many people as possible and promote sports gatherings 📢 around the city of Lyon 🦁. This year, if you’re more of a the “sleep-in” team ⏰, you’ll also have the chance to watch the race that starts at 10:30 am, the Relais des Écoliers, reserved for children and their parents🏃♂️.
Run Écully offers a unique concept that will surely win you over 😏: you come to run and you stay to have fun! 🎉 After your challenge, several musical performances 🎵, food stalls 🌭 and other surprises 🎁 will be waiting for you and your loved ones 🤗. It’s the perfect time to take a me-time and also for others 🤝. Indeed, the start of the Relais des Écoliers will be given in quick succession! 🎊 You’ll be able to cheer children from the schools of Écully 🎒, who may become the future trail runners ⛰️ of a future edition of the Run Écully? 🤔
