La course « Run for the Dogs » de 5 km propose un parcours pittoresque au Queeny Park et permet de collecter des fonds pour un refuge animalier local. Les participants reçoivent un t-shirt, une médaille de finisseur, un pendentif en forme de chien et peuvent consulter les résultats en direct. Les coureurs comme les marcheurs peuvent venir accompagnés de leurs animaux de compagnie, qui doivent être tenus en laisse courte et bien élevés. L'événement est chronométré et les résultats sont disponibles en ligne. Une participation virtuelle est également possible. Tous les participants qui franchissent la ligne d'arrivée se voient offrir des friandises, tant pour les humains que pour les chiens.
