Fondée par Michael Oher, champion de la NFL, la fondation soutient les jeunes issus de milieux socio-économiques défavorisés par le biais de l'éducation, du mentorat et de ressources communautaires. Cet événement familial comprend un t-shirt de course, des médailles pour les participants et des cadeaux des sponsors. Tous les profits sont reversés aux initiatives de la fondation. Cet événement célèbre l'effort collectif de la communauté pour donner aux jeunes les moyens de se construire un avenir meilleur.
