Gear up for one of Poland's most spectacular OCR events: Runmageddon Ełk delivers a legendary showdown with mud, water and sand in the heart of the Mazury, featuring a unique course that includes a lake run, ramping on the municipal beach, and obstacles against the backdrop of Ełk’s promenade. Available formats: Intro, Rekrut, Classic or Family. After the effort, the lakeside stroll, the observation tower and the Teutonic castle ruins offer excellent recovery ideas.

Runmageddon Ełk is a legendary clash with mud, water and sand in the heart of Mazury, guaranteed to bring an electric vibe – not just because of the temperature, but also the obstacles! 🧊🔥Ełk offers a unique course that takes advantage of the town’s assets: a lake-crossing race, ramping on the municipal beach, and obstacles set against the backdrop of Ełk promenade. Available formats typically include: Intro, Rekrut, Classic or Family!
Once you rinse off the mud (which in Ełk can take a moment!), the town offers excellent options for recovery:
The promenade along Lake Ełk: Over 6 km of water-adjacent paths. The perfect spot for a relaxed stroll, to loosen stiff muscles and soak in the scenery you were sprinting past at race pace 🌊.
The Observation Tower: If you’ve still got some energy in your legs, climb to the top to admire Ełk and the surrounding lakes – the 19-meter view helps you gauge the terrain you just tamed 🔭.
The Teutonic Castle Ruins: They sit on an island connected to the land by a bridge. Even though mostly ruins, they have a distinctive, raw atmosphere 🏰.
And for refueling? Local restaurants like Między Wierszami or Restauracja Dos Patos are exactly what a Runmageddon participant needs after burning a few thousand calories 🥩.
