Le Running Scared 5K – Pumpkin Challenge se déroule à la Florida Gulf Coast University et propose une course unique où les participants transportent des citrouilles tout au long du parcours. Les coureurs peuvent choisir parmi des citrouilles de différentes tailles à différents points du parcours, ce qui leur permet de faire des choix stratégiques entre poids et distance. L'événement vise à soutenir Special Olympics Florida, en favorisant une ambiance communautaire grâce à des activités et des festivités d'après-course.
