At the Salento Trail Challenge, experience the adventure in nature and the mountains of Quindío across 5, 10, 21 or 42 km, for an experience suited to all levels and every turn that recalls Colombia. After the effort, discover Plaza de Bolívar, the Mirador Alto de la Cruz and the Valle de Cocora, then finish with a specialty coffee on Calle Real and a sunset from the heights.
If you want a race bib that smells like adventure, the Salento Trail Challenge checks all the boxes: the nature, the mountains, and that Quindío vibe where every turn reminds you that you’re still in Colombia 🌿.
Here, you run above valleys, between green trails and viewpoints that make you want to pause… but you’ll keep your momentum and enjoy the ride in motion ⛰️.
You choose your playground: 5 km to keep it enjoyable without burning out, 10 km for a good dose of elevation, 21 km to tell a real story, or 42 km to write the full novel—and yes, I know the spots where the landscape will put a “wow” in your legs 🏁.
After the finish line, stick around: take a stroll to the Plaza de Bolívar in the heart of Salento, climb to the viewpoints of the Mirador Alto de la Cruz for a postcard-perfect view, then wander through the Valle de Cocora and its giant palms (yes, the ones that seem to touch the sky) 🌴.
And to finish in style, grab a specialty coffee in the Calle Real (the street that’s the most colorful in town), or treat yourself to a gentle sunset from the hills: you’ll see, here, the recovery has a pretty addictive taste of “come back soon” ☕
