Semi-Marathon de Budapest de Printemps (Telekom Vivicitta)

Ready to take on a big challenge? 🏃‍➡️ The Budapest Spring Half Marathon (Telekom Vivicitta) is waiting for you with open arms! 🏁 If you love running and eye-catching scenery, then the Pearl of the Danube is the perfect place for your next half 👀. Spoiler alert : this race takes place in Hungary during the spring, which means runners should enjoy mild and pleasant temperatures in the month of March 🌺. Running along the Danube with beautiful sunshine—what more could you ask for? ☀️ This year, the event will celebrate its 41st edition by offering no less than three events ! 🎂 And if you’re undecided, rest assured Buda and Pest have managed to agree, so you should be able to as well 💪.

The key thing, the highlight, the star of the weekend: the half marathon 🤩. Great news for those who still feel daunted by the famous distance of 21.097 km, it’s possible to do it in relay by two or three 👯‍♀️. With family or friends, relay is a fantastic way to enjoy it together 🫶. The other races include a 7 km and a 10 km. On Saturday you’ll also have a 2x3 km relay and a 2.4 km race. Distances accessible for everyone and two formats that should please both casual runners and speed demons alike! ⏱️ The three routes will take you through the city in a new way 😎. You’ll pass by a plethora of magnificent monuments such as the Hungarian Parliament, a must-visit in Budapest 🥰. After that, feel free to check out the Chain Bridge— the stunning bridge spanning the Danube 🌉. This bridge is something of a city emblem 🚨. Then you’ll cross the Fisherman’s Bastion 🎣, the perfect spot for a panoramic view of Budapest ! 🏙️ We can confirm your efforts will be rewarded with such a parcours 😌. With culture, heritage and history, this event leaves nothing out ✨.

Speaking of leaving nothing out, we almost forgot to mention the culinary specialties of the Hungarian capital... 👩‍🍳 On the tasting menu, you’ll get to savor the succulent goulash ! 🤤 This beef stew with vegetables will wake up your taste buds, just like the Lángos 👄, a local street food favorite 🌭. Then, to digest, or as a dessert 🍰, head to one of the numerous thermal baths in the city 🛀. The most iconic are the Széchenyi Thermal Baths, forming the largest thermal complex in Budapest 🤯.
