Between nature, forests, and vineyards, this half marathon invites you to tread Villeneuve-de-Marsan, the heart of the Landes, for 21.0975 km of effort and festive atmosphere. In parallel, a 10 km road race, a 12 km walk for accompanying guests, and kids & juniors routes allow the whole family to participate. After the effort, discover the Gascon region and share a convivial moment in the Armagnacais country setting.
Hey runners! 🏃♂️ Picture yourself stepping onto the land of the Musketeers, in Villeneuve-de-Marsan, in the heart of the Landes for a half-marathon like no other. The Armagnac Half Marathon offers you a unique experience, between nature, forest and vineyards, to catch a big breath of fresh air. If running 21.0975 km under the wine leaf gold doesn’t tempt you, a 10 km road race is also on the program, as well as a walk of 12 km for accompanying guests who prefer a slower pace. And of course, a children & juniors trail is also planned so the whole family can join in! 🍇
And that’s not all! The festive vibe of the department will crown this sporty day 🎉. A half-marathon that rhymes with fun and good vibes, isn’t it tempting?
But there’s more to discover in the region! 🚗 After you’ve recovered from your race, you can explore the wonders of the Gascony 🤩. Within 1h30 of Villeneuve-de-Marsan, you can stroll along the stunning Landes or Basque beaches, wander to the Rocher de la Vierge in Biarritz or soak in the market atmosphere at Petit-Bayonne while sipping a glass of wine and nibbling piquillos, or visiting the City of Wine in Bordeaux, discovering the Dune du Pilat or getting fresh air in the Basque country’s hinterland or the rolling hills of the Gers 🌿.
