Semi-Marathon de Mulhouse

So head to the Grand Est region, more precisely the Haut-Rhin department, in the stunning city of Mulhouse, to kick off a unique half-marathon. Indeed, the Mulhouse Half Marathon offers you a responsible and environmentally conscious sporting event. Plus, you’ll get to enjoy a festive and friendly atmosphere, while discovering the wonders the city has to offer. And since good news never comes alone, the race takes place in April, which means ideal temperatures for running with total serenity 😁.

As you’ve guessed, you’re signing up for a half and its 21.1 km. But that’s not all! If the distance intimidates you or you simply want to share it with someone, it’s possible! The organizers offer a two-person or more relay format for more fun. From there, it’s up to you to choose your teammate wisely to set the best possible time and who knows, beat records! Bonus: it’s a night event! a sunset start, for a by-night route! 🌖

The aim of this event is that, at the pace of your strides, Mulhouse reveals no secrets to you. The course consists of a single loop around the Ill stadium to enjoy all the riches of the venue. After stepping over the Ill Canal, you’ll know the Steinbach Square, then the Place de la Réunion, the main train station, the new basins, the Lefebvre barracks, the exhibition park and the automotive city. Yes, as you can see, there’s plenty to see and discover. It’s both urban and flat, an ideal playground to push your limits and make your stopwatch sprint! ⏱

And after the race, you can retrace your steps to take more time admiring the architectural wealth of the city. Plus, it should be nice out, so you can sit on a terrace to savor the best local specialties: pretzels, choucroute and kougelhopf for dessert 😋.
