Dive into the Finistère Half Marathon, a friendly event with a choice of format: 21.1 km or 10 km. The start of the half is in Telgruc-sur-Mer, before joining Camaret-sur-Mer and crossing the Crozon Peninsula, in the heart of the varied landscapes of northern Brittany. Electric atmosphere and on-course entertainment along the route, between forests, dunes, cliffs, and the ocean.
You, you’re arriving on the presqu’île de Crozon, ready to take on all the sports challenges the city has to offer 🤠. And you’re in luck, because there is one that could catch your eye: the Semi‑Marathon du Finistère 🗾, a friendly event where you can choose your format and run through the soul of the Bretagne ⚜️.
You have the choice between the Semi‑Marathon classic of 21,1 km, and the 10 km for speed lovers 🔥. For those opting for the half, the start will be at Telgruc-sur-Mer to quickly reach Camaret-sur-Mer located on the tip of the presqu’île 🌅. Obviously, you’ll also pass through the pretty town of Crozon which will be halfway between the two towns. The 10 km, on the other hand, will start directly from Crozon and finish at the same place as the 21 km. In this part of northern France, the landscape variety is very rich 🌳. Between forests, rivers, dunes, cliffs and especially the ocean! 📸 It’s not because you sign up for a half that you’ll be limited to running on asphalt. To truly enjoy these legendary landscapes, you’ll alternate between greenways and roads 🏞️. To accompany you, the atmosphere will be electric! ⚡ There will be activities all along the course to make you feel as encouraged as possible! 🎆
To really enjoy your stay in the Finistère, Finishers has put together some complete and really cool activities you can do whether you’re alone, with friends or with family! 👨👩👦 You can start with a visit to the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Rocamadour ⛪, which sits at the edge of the port of Camaret ⛵. In the same area, UNESCO World Heritage-listed, it once watched over the entrance to the Brest gulf; go see the Tour Vauban 🛟. If you’d rather take some time to learn a bit, you can discover more about Breton resistants from World War II at the Musée Mémorial de la Bataille de l’Atlantique 📚. But if you prefer spending time exploring this incredible nature, which we’ve been told so well, then we recommend the Sentier des Douaniers, a coastal hike between Telgruc and Camaret, with views of the cliffs and coves! ⛰️
