Welcome to the Czech Republic ! 🇨🇿 In March, we’re inviting you to the new edition of the Prague Half Marathon ! What a stroke of luck that this race of 21 km lands on your calendar, because you simply can’t miss this one!📍

The Czech Republic proudly upholds Prague's reputation, and rightly so. It’s a unconventional and stunning city that will likely be on your list of best discoveries this year 🧳. The Prague Half Marathon is the perfect event if you want to mix sport and travel ✈️. The organization has planned a run through the city to see the most iconic spots! ⚡ On the schedule: start/finish in the Josefov ✡️, crossings over 4 bridges in the city 🌉, a breathtaking view of the Vltava 💦 and even a crossing right in front of the Charles Bridge😍. Plus, the conditions of the Prague Half Marathon are favorable in March : you won’t be too hot or too cold!

This race wins the hearts 💓 and legs of many participants every year. Proof: there were over 17,000 participants last year! 🎽 And yes! In the Czech Republic, we know how to party! 🥁 The vibe is crazy and the variety of profiles 🏃‍♂️ makes the competition lively. You can find many champions aiming to beat their records, but also many runners who come just for the fun 🧈... Disguised 🥸, with family or friends! 😜 Your call on your goals, and you’ll surely find your happiness! But no, don’t be surprised! The Prague Half Marathon is renowned for being extremely fast ⏱️. Even though the hills that line the city are charming, you’ll need to leave them out for the race! Otherwise, records like the one by Kenyan Sebastian Sawe (58 minutes and 24 seconds) would be tough to beat 🏆.

Finally, just because you’re aiming to be a true speedster at the Prague Half Marathon, doesn’t mean you can’t soak in the city’s iconic corners 📸. This is where you’ll get the little tips from Finishers (yes, we’re playing tour agent) 😜👉. For us, in the highlights you shouldn’t miss, there’s the Prague Castle 🏰. The best way to visit it is by walking, passing through the Charles Bridge 🌉. You’ll be awestruck by the architecture, the raw medieval vibe, the statues and the dark hue of the stones 😉. But you’ll see that, long before reaching there, you’ll already be spellbound by the beauty of the Old Town Square 🕰️, a must for tourists coming to admire the vibrant colors and varied styles. There’s also the church of Our Lady before Tyn and St. Nicholas Church, one Gothic and the other Baroque ⛪. The cherry on top? 🍒 You can sample Czech specialties. Our favorite menu 🍽️: a garlic soup cesnečka as a starter 🥣, a goulash guláš (a revamped beef stew) for the main 🥩, and, to finish, the trdelník (grilled sweet pastry 🍰) for the gourmands 🍪.
