Run in Mont Saint-Michel

Oh yes, just like in Dirty Dancing, whether it’s baby or the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, we don’t leave them in a corner 💃!

Dance with nature as you tread lightly along the path of an exceptional and history-packed race, created in 1997 (and yes, it doesn’t age us). It’s no surprise that this grand site is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site! It’s in May that you’ll come to test yourself at the Marathon of the Mont Saint-Michel Bay, as thespring temperatures from the northwest of France should be with you ☀️.

As its name doesn’t indicate, there are options for every distance preference with the Mont Saint-Michel Marathon. On the program: road racing or trail, you choose, you can run the marathon at your own pace or as a duo to share the challenge in a friendly way. You can also opt for the half marathon, the 10 km on road, and we’ve kept the toughest for last: the Trail of the Archangel of 53 km.

The pure distance of 42 km starts its route in the neighboring region, in Brittany, more precisely at Port de la Houle in Cancale in Ille-et-Vilaine. You’ll cross two regions and two departments, what a journey that is, right? And the course is no exception... Well, yes, let’s talk about it! It’s simply stunning: beaches, dunes, cliffs, forest trails and fields, you’ll pass through every kind of path and every emotion 🥰. You’ll also have the chance to take part in legendary passages such as the GR34, the Chapelle Sainte-Anne or the famous stairs of the Mont-Saint-Michel.

It’s a true slice of history you’re about to tread, alongside runners from all over the world, representing no less than 60 nationalities. You’ll need to brush up on your foreign languages to share a good omelette from la Mère Poulard (nothing to do with Harry Potter+ after the race.
