WE ARE EXCITED TO LAUNCH OUR 2026 SGT PERTH SUBMISSION GRAPPLING STATE CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT. OPEN TO KIDS, TEENS, ADULTS AND MASTERS - GI AND NO-GI DIVISIONS THIS IS THE PREMIER EVENT ON THE SGTPERTH GRAPPLING CALENDAR!
SUBMISSION ONLY:
THERE ARE NO POINTS OR ADVANTAGES. SIMPLY SUBMISSION ONLY. THE COMPETITOR WITH THE MOST SUBMISSIONS IN THE DIVISION WILL WIN! ITS NOT 'WHO SUBMITS WHO, SIMPLY THE MOST SUBMISSIONS WILL TAKE THE GOLD. IF THE DIVISION IS A TIE, THE FASTEST SUBMISSION IN THE DIVISION (BETWEEN THE TOP TWO COMPETITORS) WILL WIN THE DIVISION. IF THERE ARE NO SUBMISSIONS IN THE BOUT, IT WILL BE CALLED A DRAW. IF THERE ARE NO SUBMISSIONS IN THE DIVISION, THERE WILL BE NO MEDALS AWARDED. YOU MUST SUBMIT AT LEAST ONE OPPONENT TO BE ELIGIBLE TO BE ON THE PODIUM.
DIVISION BREAK DOWNS:
ALL DIVISIONS ARE ROUND ROBIN (MINIMUM OF 4 BOUTS) - EXCEPT A DIVISION OF 3 WHICH WILL SEE EACH COMPTITOR FACE EACH OTHER ONCE (2 BOUTS). IN A DIVISION OF 2, ITS IS THE 'BEST OF THREE'. YOU WILL NEED TO SECURE 2 SUBMISSIONS TO STOP THE THIRD BOUT. ONE SUBMISSION EACH, JUST ONE SUBMISSION OR NO SUBMISSIONS WILL SEE THE COMPETITORS HEAD TO A THIRD BOUT. IN A DIVISION OF 8 OR MORE, THE DIVISION WILL BE BROKEN INTO TWO GROUPS WITH THE FINALISTS FROM EACH BRACKET WILL HEAD TO A 'FINALS' DIVISION TO FACE THE WINNERS OF EACH BRACKET. IF THERE IS ONLY 1 BRACKET WINNER, THEY WILL BE DEEMED THE DIVISION WINNER. IN THE FINALS MATCHES, IF THE BOUT IS A DRAW, THE COMPETITORS WILL GO INTO ANOTHER 5 MINUTE BOUT. IF THIS IS A DRAW, BOTH COMPETITORS WILL BE AWARDED THE GOLD.

KIDS (6 TO 11 YEARS) - 3 MINUTE ROUNDS TEENS (12 TO 14) - 4 MINUTE ROUNDS JUVENILLE AND ADULTS - 5 MINUTE ROUNDS MASTERS BLACK BELT - 6 MINUTE ROUNDS ADULT BLACK BELT - 10 MINUTE ROUNDS:
