Évian Urban Trail

Évian, it’s the future, it’s the best of times in the one of the most beautiful French towns 🇫🇷, a true haven! 🥰 A place to recharge and, above all, get back in shape! 💪 Get back in shape... Really? 🤔 Yes! And for that, we had a great idea: join a race or a walk in Évian, on the edge of the Lac Léman ! 🏃‍♂️ Today, we’re taking you to discover the Évian Urban Trail! Plus, this race is charity and donates 1€ per bib to the ASL, association for the safeguarding of Lac Léman 💧.

And… here we go! Let’s take a few minutes to pitch the event! 🎬 Organized by the City Sports Department at the end of April, the Urban Trail of Évian offers 6 distances ! Do you want to dive into the must‑try? "The Urban Trail Solo" by 16 km 🏃‍♂️ is for you! This course has two laps of 8 km and 400 mD+ that will wind you through the historic center, the low town, and the green heights 🌳. But most of all, you’ll run along the Lac Léman, that sparkling mirror reflecting the mountains 🏔️. If you’re the type who wants to dive into the big swim 💪, the 30 km Urban Trail Solo XL is for you! More rugged, more challenging, and with an 800 m of positive elevation, this XL version will take you to secret trails and viewpoints that will leave you awestruck 😍. For a fast race 🚀, the "l’Urban Trail Sprint" of 8 km is perfect. A single loop, but just as magical: the lake, the picturesque streets, and the event’s energy. If you’d rather share the effort 💦, choose the "l’Urban Trail Relais". In duo, you’ll take turns with your partner to cover each an 8 km loop 🏅. The kids will also get their dose of fun 😋. With formats adapted (2 x 1,5 km for the Benjamins 🐣 and 3 x 1,5 km for the Minimes 🐥) they can taste the trail vibe while having fun 🎉. If you simply want to enjoy the scenery without rushing, go for the 8 km walk. No timing, just a peaceful stroll through nature, town, and of course the majestic Lac Léman 🌅 which marks the border between France 🇫🇷 and the Switzerland ! 🇨🇭

Don’t worry, there’ll still be more to discover in Évian! 💦 First, you can take a scenic motorboat, sailboat, or rowboat ride on the Lac Léman. Then, we strongly recommend visiting the Palais Lumière, which hosts a large number of artistic exhibitions 🖼️. Finally, to cap off your road trip in style, you can dine at one of the many lakeside restaurants 🧑‍🍳.
