The time for passive observation is over, we’re moving into pure, tough competition 💛. Speed becomes your sole obsession on this must-see leg of the road racing calendar.

We’re planting our flags in the Bouches-du-Rhône, right in the heart of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, for an extraordinary event. It’s at the end of March that the prestigious Blocks League sets up base camp for its second stage ⭐. On the menu of this urban mind-bender, we’re offering two ultra-amped formats to push your limits. You have the privilege of choosing between a pure 3 km sprint solo or a totally explosive 10x1 km team relay 🤝. The distances are ultra-short, meaning intensity will be max from the first to the last meter.

The playing field unfolds on the famous Esplanade du J4, ideally tucked between the Mediterranean Sea and the splendid Mucem. This flat, fully paved course demands aggressive accelerations worthy of the best cinema scenes 🎦. It’s simple, with this crazy speed, you’d almost think you’re in a cult scene from the film Taxi, the famous white car without 🚕. The Vieux-Port watches over you in the background, as do the century-old walls of the Fort Saint-Jean 🏰. Flâner pour admirer the incredible concrete lattice designed by architect Rudy Ricciotti. Your only mission is to swallow the distance while keeping your eyes fixed on the finish line 🏁.

The on-site vibe is simply electric, with a festival village waking up as evening begins. The league’s unifying spirit brings together beginners and semi-pros on the same starting line 🤜. The experience extends well beyond the effort with a legendary After Party that promises to leave a mark on every participant 🏃. We celebrate the entire culture of urban running here 🏙️. Tie the laces of your fastest shoes tight and come clock the time against the sea.

You’ll have two distances on the program: a 3 km solo or a 10x1 km relay. Speaking of the shorter distance, it is contested as a highly nerve-wracking group start. We unleash you into the middle of the pack for 3 km of pure speed on the Marseille pavement 🌟. The goal is to break the league record and never look back. Only 10 runners qualify for the final 🤪. You need a strong heart to survive this crazy intensity. For the relay race, team spirit truly matters on this course cut especially for 5 runners. Mixed participation is mandatory: you must line up at least 2 women and 2 men in your group 🤝. Each member runs the ultra-short 1 km distance twice, which means tiny recovery times. The baton passes fly at lightning speed on the Esplanade du J4. Only the Top 6 earn their precious ticket to the ultimate Parisian showdown! 🗼
