The Stramilano SottoZero returns to Milan, Italy for a road race in December, with distances of 5 or 10 km on a flat and accessible course, ideal for attempting a new personal best. Start from Viale Cassiodoro and complete the route in Parco di CityLife, in the heart of the fashion capital. Dress warmly and enjoy the cultural and local atmosphere before or after the event.
After a sold-out edition premiere, the Stramilano SottoZero is back to make the streets of Milan in Italy come alive! 📍 It’s the first day of the December that you’ll tackle the kilometers of this road race that’s buzzing with excitement! 🏆 As you can see, zero-degree temperatures won’t stop the runners 💪. You too, right? 🤔 Still, we recommend grabbing some winter layers (avoid the ski suit 🤓) and training hard, because even if your calves will be frozen, it’ll heat up on the course! 🔥
The distances won’t be very long and the course will be very flat, so it’s the perfect moment to try to beat your personal best in one of the last events of the year! 🗓️ 5 or 10 km, in competition mode or more chill, it’s up to you to choose 😉. All participants will start from the Viale Cassiodoro. All events follow the 5 km route, which runs entirely inside the Parco di CityLife, the largest shopping center 🛍️ of the "Capitale de la Mode" 👕. Stramilano SottoZero will treat you to a snapshot of the Italian culture : Place Jules César, Place des Trois Tours, Fontaine des 4 Saisons... The monuments won’t disappoint! 🏛️
After crossing the finish line 🏁, don’t miss out on all the region has to offer. Take time to savor a delicious risotto alla milanese at a local restaurant 🍝. Or why not explore the stunning Lake Como, with its breathtaking scenery and charming nearby villages? 🏞️ It’s just an hour away and perfect to recharge after the effort 😌. And if you’re into culture, visiting the famous Duomo di Milano cathedral is a must! ⛪ Whether as a couple or with family, everyone will enjoy a stroll in the historic Brera district, where art and history meet 🖼️.
