Le semi-marathon des ponts couverts de Swanzey emmène les participants à travers les sites pittoresques du sud-ouest du New Hampshire, notamment plusieurs ponts couverts historiques. Le parcours, principalement plat, comprend un mélange de routes goudronnées, d'une section de voie ferrée aménagée et de quelques sentiers de terre, offrant des vues qui reflètent le caractère de la Nouvelle-Angleterre. L'événement accueille les marcheurs, les joggeurs et les coureurs de tous niveaux. Après l'arrivée, les participants sont invités à un barbecue d'après-course proposant une variété de produits frais. La course attire généralement environ 500 coureurs et met en valeur l'atmosphère authentique et historique de la ville.
