About this event

Between late August and early September in Switzerland, the event offers routes ranging from 10 km to 643 km (and even 647 km), across the canton of Valais and the surrounding mountains. Port-Valais hosts an anniversary edition of the SwissPeaks Trail, a sporting adventure that attracts amateurs and pros, with grand landscapes and a true nature escape.

Whether you’re an amateur or a pro, we all have dreams, goals to chase 🎯. We’re sure the race we’re about to tell you could be part of your dream list 📋, because we can assure you, there aren’t thousands of races like this... 😎 This famous race is the SwissPeaks Trail! 🇨🇭 As its name suggests, the event is organized in Switzerland ☀️, from the end of August to the beginning of September 🗓️. The SwissPeaks, it’s more than a race, it’s an adventure! 🚀 And we won’t sugarcoat it, it’s an adventure that can last anywhere from 10 km to 643 km for the precise figure 🫡. Yes, you read that right: 647 km, roughly the distance from Paris to Marseille 🚂, to give you a sense of scale! 💡 This year, the event will celebrate its 10th edition 🎂, ready to welcome runners from around the world to discover the stunning Canton of Valais 🏞️.

Let’s get to the heart of things and talk distances, because there’s a lot to choose from 🤗. Let’s start with the baby steps of the trails SwissPeaks: the 10 km and the semi-marathon. These are the smallest distances 🤏, open to everyone who isn’t into long distances but still wants to be part of this big celebration 🎉. You’ll still need legs that are in good shape 🦵, because for this half-marathon there is 990 mD+ ⤴️. In logical progression, the next distance is the marathon, and to be precise, it’s even 46 km and 2 480 mD+. Next, the SwissPeaks offers a distance of 72.6 km and 4 387 mD+ 😜. More than a race, it’s a real escape to the heart of the nature and the mountains ⛰️, between the Dents du Midi and the Leman 🚣. Attention, drumroll please because the next race clears the legendary 100 km bar 100 km 🤩. It’s a race for truly motivated runners ready to cross a part of Switzerland 🏃‍➡️. A little more patience ⌛, there are still three distances for the most committed... Or the wildest 🤪, to be seen. The SwissPeaks still has more up its sleeve and offers top athletes to cover 168 km and 10 990 mD+, with passages through legendary cols like the Col de Susanfe! We’re near the end, and the last two distances are impressive: 307 km and 27 530 mD+ to complete solo or in duo, and the cherry on top 🍒, it’s 643 km and 43 800 mD+ These distances are truly reserved for the most experienced, seeking a life-changing challenge! 🔥 So you have plenty of options, and depending on your level, you can join this incredible experience 💪. Finally, children will also be part of it thanks to the SwissPeaks children and its three routes open to kids aged 4 to 12 years

The Swiss is bound to melt your heart, and not just because of its chocolate... 🍫 You’ll see, the landscapes are stunning 🌄, nature shines, and you’ll have it all to yourself 🙂‍↔️. You’ll discover gorgeous places that will show you all kinds of colors 🌈. From the Lac Léman, passing through Morzine, the Col de la Forclaz 🗻, the Mont Gelé, and plenty of other surprises 🎁. Finally, after you’ve explored every nook of the Switzerland, we recommend taking time to sit back and discover some local specialties 😋. Speaking of specialties, how could we not mention the delicious culinary delights 🫕. Whether you prefer a savory or sweet vibe 🍬, you’ll find something to delight your taste buds among fondues 🧀, raclette, or desserts like Engadine walnut tart or a good square of Swiss chocolate 🍭.

In any case, this event seems to have all the ingredients for a great success, with only one thing missing: you! 👉
