La course Canberra Times Fun Run rassemble plus de 5 000 coureurs sur un parcours rapide et plat à travers la capitale australienne. Les participants peuvent choisir parmi quatre distances : le semi-marathon Runner's World certifié AIMS, un 10 km, un 5 km ou l'épreuve 2 km pour les enfants, ce qui en fait une course accessible à tous les niveaux. Le parcours permet de découvrir certains des sites les plus emblématiques de Canberra, notamment l'ancien et le nouveau Parlement, tandis que des meneurs d'allure aident les coureurs à atteindre leurs meilleurs résultats personnels ou à terminer leur première course en toute confiance. Tous les participants qui terminent la course reçoivent une médaille et bénéficient d'un soutien complet, notamment des points de ravitaillement et un chronométrage électronique.
