The Last Desert, c'est une course à pied en autonomie de 6 étapes et 250 kilomètres dans la dernière frontière de l'Antarctique. Cette course est réservée à ceux qui ont déjà fini au moins deux des quatre courses de la série 4 Deserts Race Series, qui comprend la Gobi March en Chine, l'Atacama Crossing au Chili et la Sahara Race (qui se déroule actuellement en Namibie). Chaque participant doit porter un équipement de sécurité minimal. Une assistance est fournie tout au long de la course, notamment de l'eau (en quantité suffisante), un abri et une assistance médicale. The Last Desert est la seule course par étapes de plusieurs jours sur le continent antarctique. Elle débutera à Ushuaia, en Argentine. Les concurrents traverseront en bateau le célèbre passage de Drake pour rejoindre plusieurs sites en Antarctique et dans les îles environnantes. En plus de la course, les participants découvriront la faune unique de l'Antarctique et ses glaciers, et seront transportés chaque jour vers le rivage à bord de zodiacs. Cette expérience unique est ouverte non seulement aux participants, mais aussi à leur famille et à leurs amis, qui sont les bienvenus.
