The Tough Race at Balan invites you to push your limits on a course that combines crawling, climbing, and carrying, with a healthy dose of mud and plenty of laughter. Two formats are available: 8 km for a real challenge and 3 km designed for kids and juniors. After the effort, enjoy the Ardennes, Grand Est atmosphere, and a mini-break before debriefing your exploits on the terrace.
The Tough Race at Balan, it’s the kind of event where you come to push yourself… and you leave with a mud-splashed (and proud) smile 😄.
Here, we’re not just talking about getting from point A to point B: you’ll crawl, climb, carry, get dirty, laugh, and sometimes wonder “why did I sign up for this”… before wanting to do it again 💪.
Two formats: an 8 km course to seriously challenge you, and a 3 km designed for kids & juniors, perfect if you want to bring a mini-soldier on a mission 🪖.
And after the effort, take a moment to enjoy it: you’re in the Ardennes, in the heart of the Grand Est, and there’s plenty to turn your race into a mini-getaway. Check out Charleville-Mézières , push on to Sedan for its impressive castle, or breathe by the Meuse for a calm stroll before you settle on a terrace in Balan to debrief your exploits 🍻.
