From Plainoiseau, the Tour du mont genezet invites you to a nature immersion in the Jura, between forests and trails that tell stories. Choose your distance – 10.4, 15 or 25 km – to combine pleasure and effort, and discover wooded passages, playful accelerations, and viewpoints that make you lift your eyes. A family edition with École d’Athlé and youth races, to leave with a smile and the desire to come back.
The Tour du mont genezet, it’s your ticket to treating yourself in the middle of nature, where the Jura smells like the forest and the paths that tell stories 🌲.
Starting from Plainoiseau, you alternate wooded sections, playful little boosts, and viewpoints that make you lift your head (yes, even when it stings a little) 🏞️.
Choose your adventure: 10.4 km to indulge without burning out, 15 km to extend the fun, or 25 km to chase the “genezet” to the very end… and earn your best smile at the finish line 🥇.
And if you come with family, it’s perfect: there are also races École d’Athlé, Poussins, Benjamins and Minimes, so everyone has their starting line (and a little moment of pride) 👨👩👧👦.
After the effort, head to Lons-le-Saunier just steps away for a relaxed stroll, take in the air at the Montaigu belvedere for the panorama, swing by Baume-les-Messieurs (one of Jura’s most photogenic spots), or treat yourself to a break at the Thermes de Lons-le-Saunier to loosen up… no fuss 😋.
In short: you come to run among the green, you leave with a mini Jura trip in your shoes, and one question in mind: “Shall we do it again next year?”
