Start at Longuesse Stadium and discover the Parc du Vexin français during the Vexin Challenge Multisport, an event accessible to everyone with 2 courses of 4 km and 11 km to be completed by running or walking. The event supports La Note Rose and offers a refreshments stand and activities after the race, in the natural setting of Val d’Oise before enjoying A night on the Seine and Paris via the RER A from Cergy.
If you’re a site regular, you’re probably a sports enthusiast, at least when it comes to running 🏃♂️ ! Unfortunately, not everyone is, and that’s where the Vexin Challenge Multisport kicks in. The race starts at the stadium in Longnesse, before taking you to the heart of the Parc du Vexin Français 🌳. This vast reserve just a stone’s throw from the French capital 🇫🇷 will offer you a fantastic setting for your entire race. 2 routes of 4km and 11km are on offer, and you can choose to run them or walk : the event is accessible to everyone, from elite athletes to people who don’t exercise! 👐
The organizing association, based in the Val d'Oise, aims to promote sport through various events. It also has a philanthropic mission, which is why it organizes a yearly race to support La Note Rose, another organization dedicated to helping people with breast cancer 🎗 and raising awareness about screening 👩⚕️. At the end of the race, you’ll find a refreshment stand 🍹 and all kinds of activities 🎈.
After the race, you’ll get to explore the park a bit more deeply. You won’t be able to see everything (the park covers over 65 000 hectares 😳) but you’ll have time to catch sight of some of the species that inhabit the park, like the majestic Red kite 🦅 . If you want to enjoy your visit to Île-de-France to explore Paris, you can easily reach the capital by taking the RER A to Cergy 🚩. In addition to the city’s must-sees, we recommend catching the sunset over the Seine Square du Vert Galant. A beautiful sight to end the day!
