The capital opens its doors to fans of responsible sport by offering 9 different distances. So grab your tickets because you’re sure to find the distance you need 😏. And yes, you have a choice between 7 trail distances (120 km, 80 km, 45 km, 35 km, 30 km, 20 km, 10 km) and 2 Nordic walking options (20 km and 10 km). Isn’t that great? And you haven’t seen anything yet... First, get ready to traverse numerous parks, forests, along the beautiful Seine and climb the levels of the Eiffel Tower 😍.

Even though it’s clear that the Iron Lady, the Champ de Mars and the historic landmarks are stars of the courses, and you’ll mostly get to enjoy an exceptionally natural setting 🌤. Indeed, if you’re not familiar with the concept of an EcoTrail, it involves using preserved natural trails to raise awareness among runners and the public about environmental fragility. The goal of such a race is primarily to increase climate-change awareness through a consciousness-raising campaign 🤝. Therefore, every piece of waste is sorted and collected, trails are cleaned, and the products used are sustainable, local, and seasonal... Mmmh, doesn’t that make you want to skip through the forest now? 🍂

But enough talk about the concept, let’s get to the routes! The race starts will be held in unusual locations. Drumroll... 🥁 You can choose between the Observatoire terrace in Meudon (which is usually closed to the public—lucky you!), the Ile de Loisirs de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelinesthe Domaine du Château de Versailles or the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud... 😯 Talk about making you want to sing at the top of your lungs the Marseillaise while you visit the iconic landmarks of our heritage 🎙. By the way, the highlight of most races is the Eiffel Tower itself, lucky. Yet the races are mostly in natural settings, averaging 85 to 90% green spaces.
