Trail de Digne-les-Bains

Headed to the Alpes de Haute-Provence and the charming town of Digne-les-Bains 😇. No time to soak in the famous thermal baths, because a trail is waiting for you, the one at the Trail de Digne-les-Bains. Digne, it’s an incredible playground for the nature lover and the trail runner sleeping inside you 💘. The sport rendezvous features three races with three different routes and three distinct vibes 🤓.

Let’s start with the first race which will unfold a bit upstream 👩‍🏫. If I say vertical kilometer

Speaking plainly, we’re talking trail. A first 12 km race is offered to gain some altitude and discover the exceptional landscapes of the Géoparc UNESCO de Haute-Provence 🌳. A little gem of the region. This race is a kind of warm-up, with the guarantee that it’s accessible to all. There will still be 580 mD+, so don’t take it lightly 🫶. The second route is more demanding, with a slightly more technical course 📈. In other words, expect climbs and descents won’t be a stroll 😬. But when you love it, you don’t count, right? 😉 The distance doubles and during 24 km you’ll face 1 450 mD+. You might stick your tongue out a bit 🥵. Fortunately the scenery is jaw-droppingly beautiful and will remind you why you do this crazy sport! 🏃‍♀️ Plus every participant will leave with his medal 🥇. So you’ll have a souvenir of this grand adventure 😁.

Once you cross the finish line, enjoy a town where nature-filled activities never disappoint 🎯. If you want to feel light, take to the skies with a paragliding flight or hop aboard the train des Pignes 🪂. This rail line will show you the beauty of the Digne-les-Bains area all the way to Nicemontagne Sainte-Victoire ⛰️ is also an excellent idea.
