In Savoie, near Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny, this autumn trail race prepares in November with three distances: 11 km (D+ ~500 m), 17 km (D+ ~900 m) and 28 km (D+ ~2000 m). The start is near the town center, passing by Col du Frêne and dent d’Arclusaz, before taking forest trails where the elevation becomes steep. Prepare your legs and enjoy the alpine setting and the scenery around Lac du Bourget.

C’est à Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny, au mois de novembre, que se déroule de rendez-vous trail : les premiers flocons de neige peuvent être de la partie. Cap sur le Trail de l’Arclusaz en espérant que tu aies toutes les cordes à ton arc’lusaz pour franchir la ligne d’arrivée dans les temps ! 🏹
3 distances proposées pour cet événement automnal : un 11 km parfait pour les débutants, même si un dénivelé positif de 500m est à prévoir, un 17 km avec 900m D+ et enfin le 28 km dont la difficulté la plus sévère s’affiche à 2000m D+ ! 👍
C’est de la commune de Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny que tu vas t’élancer. Située non loin d’Albertville et de Chambéry, la ville a la chance de jouir d’un lac de près de 10 hectares et d’un patrimoine à découvrir comme le Château de Miolans 🏰. Une commune idéalement placée donc, où il fait bon vivre peu importe la période de l’année et où les activités sont nombreuses. Ce sont 90% de sentiers que tu vas fouler lors de ton périple en Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes sur ce Trail de l’Arclusaz. Le départ est donné près du centre-ville de la commune avant un passage vers le Col du Frêne par la suite ⛰️, en traversant la dent d’Arclusaz. Tu longeras quelques kilomètres plus loin les ruisseaux de Fontanettes et de Trise avant de te diriger vers des forêts. Le dénivelé devient sévère durant ce secteur : prépare bien tes jambes ! C’est l’arrivée qui t’attend ensuite. 🏁
Si tu as encore envie de flâner après ton trail, direction le lac du Bourger ou encore le parc naturel du massif des Bauges pour profiter encore plus du grand air. 😊
